Haltom City is located in Tarrant County, Texas. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth region. It is also an inner suburb of Fort Worth in the DFW Metroplex. The city is also 6 miles from downtown Fort Worth and just 30 miles from the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The city is mostly surrounded by Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Watauga, and Richland Hills. The city has a total area of 12.4 square miles.

 

Education: 

The education system is served by Birdville Independent School District. It also serves Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Watauga, and Hurst. It is also served by the Keller School District in the northern region. Some of these students attend Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Worth. 

 

Demographics: 

As of the 2020 United States Census, Haltom City was comprised of 46,073 people, 14,601 households, and 10,520 families residing within the city limits. The median household income was $41,183 as of 2010.

The largest employers in the city are Birdville ISD with over 3,000 employees followed by Tyson Foods at 800, and Medtronic Midas Rex with 350.
