Infuse Energy is a Houston-based retail energy provider with a mission to simplify, through transparency, the purchase of energy for residential and commercial customers in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).

They want to end customers’ contracts unknowingly being switched from a fixed-rate plan to a more costly month-to-month plan. Infuse Energy pricing, as it is for all retail energy suppliers, is based on the wholesale electric market. They acknowledge that they may not always have the lowest prices but they do promise to work hard to be as competitive as possible. Infuse Energy offer various fixed-rate and variable plans all of which are simple and transparent. There are no hidden fees and no complicated contracts. Every plan has clear expiration dates and that date is prominently printed on every month’s bill. Renewal reminders are sent out well in advance of the contract expiration date so consumers can select a new energy plan well in advance. Green energy options are also available.
Green energy producers receive renewable energy credits (RECs) for each megawatt-hour produced from renewable resources. The producers can then sell these credits on the open market. Each customer that enrolls in green energy helps reduce carbon emissions that would have been produced through conventional generation means.

He promises his customers no hidden fees, no contract end date confusion, and a customer care agent will remain on the phone until all problems are resolved. The Bill of Rights also promises if a customer is dissatisfied with customer service they may call him directly to resolve their issues. This may be the ultimate proof of his commitment to customer satisfaction.
In March of 2022, NRG executed an agreement to acquire Infuse Energy’s residential customers. These customers will now be served by Reliant, Green Mountain Energy, and Discount Power, subsidiaries of NRG.
